Biogas training for the Zambia Army

Biogas classroom training with Zambia Army personnel

Anmut Sur Moi delivered a hands-on biogas training course for personnel of the Zambia Defence Force — combining classroom theory with live work on real digesters in the field.

The programme covered how anaerobic digestion works, how to size a system to available waste, and the day-to-day running of a digester: what to feed it, how to keep gas pressure steady, and how to use the bio-slurry that comes out the other end.

After the classroom sessions, trainees moved on site to assemble, feed and commission working systems under the guidance of our field crews — building the practical skills needed to run and maintain biogas installations independently.

Practical, transferable skills like these are central to how we work: every system we build is handed over to people who know how to keep it producing gas for years.
